He started his career as an Auditor in Central Government Sector from 1971.

From 1972 to 1980, worked with Shriram Refrigeration Industries Ltd., Hyderabad various capacities in Commercial Departments.

In 1980, he joined Hawkins Cookers Ltd. , Mumbai where he Joined as Despatch Manager, served as Materials Manager and resigned as Export Manager in 1987.

From 1st January 1988 he took a bold decision to quit industry And get into practice.

Practicing in Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax.
